Architecture
Architecture photography is all about capturing the beauty of the ordinary buildings. I chose to focus my photographs on various buildings around Seton Hall’s campus. All of these buildings have become so familiar that sometimes we take for granted their beauty. The chapel for instance, has a timeless elegance due to all the detailing. Some of these photos were taken at dusk which really helped accentuate their features. The window paneling of the College of Nursing reflected the sun ever so beautifully and created a leading line for ones focus to come from the outside of the photograph all the way to the sun. I experimented with different angles and positioned the buildings into various thirds to create eye-catching, dynamic photographs. I played a lot with leading lines to help draw the viewer’s eye to a specific point of interest.
